Each year just prior to the Christmas Holiday season; we like to celebrate both the academic and social accomplishments of our mentees. This is done by throwing a holiday party in which the mentors honor the mentees and provide them with encouragement and inspiration. The highlight of these events include giving away multiple bicycles and special gifts to the mentees, each according to their specific measurable achievements.
The spirit of giving does not reside within the boundaries of those we are privileged to mentor directly. The 100 Black Men of Las Vegas is also proud to host a community toy and gift giveaway for our neighbors who may not have the means to provide gifts for their youth.
These programs further establish our strong commitments to the communities we serve and we are proud that we are able to play such a role.
