The 100 Black Men of America’s number one initiative to address the disparities in education facing children in our community is Project Soar. The 100 Black Men of America introduces this initiative out to the local chapters to address this distinct disparity in the way that best fits their community.
The 100 Black Men of Las Vegas developed what they have dubbed The Black Patriarch Challenge as a result of the Project Soar initiative. The Black Patriarch Challenge challenges the men in our community to come out and be a part of the solution to address the disparities in education. This is an opportunity for collaboration and brotherhood.
The 100 Black Men of Las Vegas hosted an event on April 12, 2018 to introduce this challenge to the community. The event was a great success. There was a room of 75 men in the room all with one mission which was to change the trajectory of the students in our community.
The 100 Black Men of Las Vegas will be hosting several events and collaborative meetings throughout the course of 2018
